Single sign-on at OneFeather

The way to sign into OneFeather is changing. There are a few steps to get your account ready and consolidated. Once consolidated you will only need to sign in with a single OneFeather account going forward.

What is single sign-on at OneFeather?

Single sign-on allows you to sign into all our applications with one login, eliminating the need to remember multiple logins, emails, and passwords. In addition, this will provide you with a more secure setup as you will have one account for all the applications you use at OneFeather.

When will this take effect?

The change will go from optional to required September 5th, 2023.

How to start using single sign-on



With a OneFeather account and Nations app account

Follow these instructions if you have both a Nations app account and a OneFeather account

  1. Go to the Nation's app login page
  2. Click the "Sign in with your OneFeather Account" button
  3. Sign in to your OneFeather account 
  4. In the Old Email box, enter the email you've used previously to sign in to the Nations app
  5. In the Old Password box, enter the password you've used previously to sign in to the Nations app
  6. Click Validate Account

You have consolidated your logins and now only need to use your OneFeather account to sign in to all apps!

Without a OneFeather account

Follow these instructions if you have a Nations app account, but need a OneFeather account.

  1. Go to the Nations app login page
  2. Click the "Single Sign-on Login" text link
  3. Click the "Sign in with your OneFeather Account" button
  4. In the Email box, enter your email > click Next
  5. In the Password box, enter your password. 
  6. In the Password Confirmation box, re-enter your password
  7. Read and review the Terms and Services
  8. Check the box beside I agree to the Terms of Use
  9. Click Create Account > Verify your account
  10. Once verified, click Continue
  11. In the Old Email box, enter your Nations app email 
  12. In the Old Password box, enter your Nations app password. 
  13. Click Validate Account

Without a Nations app account

Follow these instructions if you have a OneFeather account but need a Nations app account.

  1. In your inbox, open the email with the subject line "You have been invited to join a team on OneFeather"
  2. Click on the text link "Click here to activate your account."
  3. In the Password box, enter your password
  4. In the Password Confirmation box, re-enter your password
  5. Click the "Set your password" button
  6. On the top right, click the profile icon
  7. On the bottom of the dropdown, click "Logout"
  8. Click "Single Sign-on Login"
  9. Click "Sign in with your OneFeather Account"
  10. Sign in to your OneFeather account
  11. In the Old Email box, enter your Nations app email 
  12. In the Old Password box, enter your Nations app password. 
  13. Click Validate Account

 

How will notifications work with single sign-on

OneFeather Account

Notifications related to your OneFeather account will be sent to your Contact Email selected in your manage account section. To verify what email you have selected:

  1. Go to members.onefeather.ca and sign-in
  2. Click on the profile icon on the top right 
  3. Click Manage Account
  4. Scroll down to Contact Email - The email shown will be the email that will receive notifications
    1. To change your contact email select the new contact email in the dropdown
    2. Click the Save Contact Email button

Nations App

Notifications related to the Nations app account will be sent to your email address added to your account settings in the Nations app.

To verify your email address, you have:

  1. Go to www.onefeather.ca/admin and sign-in
  2. Click on the profile icon on the top right
  3. Click Account Settings
  4. The email is under the Email Address
