Sometimes the community you're looking to join might not be available on OneFeather.
There are two reasons that this might happen: the community isn't on OneFeather, or it's called something different than you think it is.
For Members of Métis Nations
You may be searching for your local community. Instead, please search for the provincial nation that you belong to, like Métis Nation of Ontario, Métis Nation of Alberta, or Métis Nation of British Columbia.
For Communities with Active Voting Events
If you're looking for a community with an active voting event, head over to our Voting Event listing page. Once you see your nation or community, the community name should be listed at the top.
Here is an example of an event listing:
The name of the community you are looking for would be in the same spot that "General Community" is in the screenshot above.
For Identity, Status Card Applications, or a OneFeather Wallet Account
If the First Nation or community that you are looking for isn't found, there's a chance we need to add it to our database. We try to keep up to date with Canada's list, but there are a few exceptions we've found over the past couple years.
If this is you, contact our Customer Experience team and they'll help you get sorted out.
