For events configured to allow digital voting, casting your ballots online with OneFeather is secure and easy. It allows voters living in remote places, or those not living within community to contribute to the outcome of their Nation's vote.

Find information about a voting event
If you are looking for information about how and when to vote in a specific event, you can find more information by selecting View Details on the voting event via the public events page at www.onefeather.ca/elections.
*Please note: If your community/Nation has chosen not to make the information of the vote public, it will not be listed on the Onefeather voting events page. Where the information is posted will be at the discretion of your Nation. We suggest checking your Nation's website or facebook group, or reaching out to your Nation directly.

How to Vote on OneFeather
To cast your vote online using OneFeather, you'll need to log into or sign up for a OneFeather account. You will need to provide a personal email address, as well as some personal information as your account will be uniquely tied to you—ensuring that only you can use it to vote.
*Please note: Each voter must have their own OneFeather account to vote online.
To get started, go to members.onefeather.ca and sign up or log in.
- Once you have created an account or logged in, select Digital Voting on the homepage.
- If it's your first time voting online with OneFeather, you will asked to connect to your community by Selecting your Nation and entering your personal details. Once you have done this, you will not have to do it again to vote in future events.
- You will now be able to see all the voting events you are eligible to participate in. Find the event you wish to vote in and select Go to Voting Event.
- Select the Vote Now button to continue.
- Review the instructions and select Continue.
- Confirm your information by selecting Confirm and Continue.

Check your email and locate your single-use voter PIN emailed to you from us. If you do no see an email from us, please check your junk or spam folders.
Note: You can also resend the PIN email at this step. It will be sent to the address associated with your account. - Enter your 6-digit PIN and select Verify my PIN.
Note: For security purposes, you will have 20 minutes to cast your vote.
You are now ready to start voting! You will be asked to read the ballot, make your selection(s) and then confirm your selections at the end of the vote.
How to cast your ballot
After you have successfully verified your voter PIN, you'll move on to making your ballot selection(s).
- Read over the ballot.
- Make your selection(s) for the ballot.
Note: If you need to clear your ballot selections entirely, select Clear My Choice. This is useful if you intend to spoil your ballot. - Select Next to move forward.
- Repeat steps until you have completed voting on every ballot in the vote.
- Once all the ballots are completed, you will be able to review your choices and change them if you like before completing your vote.
- When you are satisfied with the selections you have made, select the Confirm Your Vote button.
- Your vote has now been submitted! You will receive an email confirmation that your vote has been received.
Once your vote is completed you will have the option to share the voting event via Facebook or Twitter/X, as well as the ability to update your information on your Nation's membership list. This features are entirely optional for voters.
