If your Nation or community is having a voting event or election, you may need to access essential documents related to the event on OneFeather.

How to access documents posted by your Nation or community
- Sign up for a OneFeather account or log in to your existing OneFeather account at members.onefeather.ca.
- Once you have successfully signed up or logged in to your OneFeather account, on the Home page, select Documents.
- You may be asked to select your Nation and confirm your membership with your personal information, such as status number / citizenship number and date of birth to continue.
- Once your Nation membership is confirmed, you will see a list of documents posted by your community that are available for you to access. You may see both public (available to view by anyone in the general public) documents and members-only documents (available to confirmed Nation members only.)
- Select a document to access it.
*Members-only documents are intended to be shared privately within your Nation. Please help keep these materials confidential by not sharing or posting them publicly.
Documents and their information
Documents display some helpful information in the list view:
Published On = When the document was posted by your Nation
Access Expiry = Your Nation can configure a document so access expires on a specific date. This is to help keep the list of documents relevant, with any outdated documents being automatically unpublished on the expiry date.
Access Type = Documents have two access types:

Public Documents - This type of document displays in two places, on the Documents page of members.onefeather.ca, as well as the public voting event page, which can be found at www.onefeather.ca/elections.*
*Please note: Some communities may choose not to list their event publicly, in which the event information will not be accessible via the voting events list page. - Members-Only Documents - This type of document is restricted to confirmed Nation members only. Voting Event = If you Nation has configured the document to be related to a specific voting event, it will be listed here.
