How to Configure Your Notifications
Go to members.onefeather.ca (link opens a new browser tab) to login and configure your notification settings.
- Once you're logged in, select the profile icon in the top right corner of any page.
- Select Manage Account from the menu
- Select Notifications from the navigation panel
- Select the toggles/switches to turn on and off notifications based on your personal preferences.
Unsubscribing From Email Notifications
There are two ways to unsubscribe from Onefeather email notifications:
1. Change your preferences via Manage Account settings at members.onefeather.ca
or
2. Select the unsubscribe button from the bottom of the email communication you wish to no longer receive.
*Note: Some essential account related email notifications cannot be turned off.
Text (SMS) Notifications
Text notifications are a great way to keep up to date about your status card applications to ensure they are fully completed in order to be submitted to Indigenous Services Canada. Please note, carrier message and data rates may apply.
Head to members.onefeather.ca to turn on text notifications for your status card application(s).
- Once you're logged in, select the profile icon menu in the top right corner of any page.
- Select Manage Account from the menu
- Select Notifications from the navigation panel
- Under the Account Notifications heading, locate the Status Card Applications notification setting:
- If you have not yet added your mobile phone number to your account, you can click/tap the Add Phone Number button to add and confirm your mobile number. You will be asked to enter a code sent to the mobile number you have entered. Your mobile number must be confirmed in order to enable text notifications.
Navigate back to the Notifications settings page. - If your mobile phone number is confirmed, locate the toggle button under Status Card Applications, and turn it on. A solid green toggle with a check mark will indicate 'ON'.
- If you have not yet added your mobile phone number to your account, you can click/tap the Add Phone Number button to add and confirm your mobile number. You will be asked to enter a code sent to the mobile number you have entered. Your mobile number must be confirmed in order to enable text notifications.
*Please note: Your mobile phone number can only be used by single OneFeather account at a time. See more info here.
Text (SMS) Keywords: HELP, STOP, START
When you first receive your opt-in text from us, included will be the keywords to get help or to permanently stop text notifications. If you wish to stop receiving text (sms) notifications from us, follow the instructions above and turn off the setting in your notifications preferences.
HELP
Help will return a message with the keyword to stop all text notifications from us.
STOP
Will permanently stop all text notifications from us.
* Please note: If you reply 'STOP' to text notifications, you will not be able to turn them on via the Manage Account settings. You will need to reply START to [+1 (778)400-7728] to enable text notifications again.
START
If you have replied STOP previously, reply START to [+1 (778)400-7728] to enable text notifications from OneFeather.
