Sign up for a OneFeather Account
A OneFeather Account will give you access to vote in your Nation's event, renew or replace your status card, access members-only documents, and receive communications from your Nation.
Sign up is easy and only takes a few minutes:
- Go to members.onefeather.ca and select Sign Up.
- Enter your preferred name, your personal email address, and create a strong password.
- To receive our monthly newsletter, select the checkbox.
- Select Accept and Sign Up.
- You will need to confirm your account by navigating to your email, locating the confirmation email from us and selecting the link inside.
** Please note: If you do no receive our email immediately, please check your junk or spam folder and add us to your contacts or safe list to ensure you receive essential notifications such as, voting event announcements and communication from your Nation. - You are now all set up!
What to do next
Connect to your Nation for community-specific services
Once you've creating and confirmed your OneFeather account, connect to your Nation (community) by adding your status or citizenship number and date of birth. Connecting to your Nation allows you access Nation-specific services such as: digital voting, members-only documents, status card renewal and replacements, and communications from your Nation.
Boost your OneFeather account security
Once you've logged in, we suggest enabling multi-factor authentication to your account for stronger security. We also suggest adding an additional backup email address for easy account recovery (should you lose access to your primary email account at any point).
Connect to your Nation (community), add additional security, and more in your account settings via Manage Account.
Verify the email address for your OneFeather Account
Once your OneFeather Account has been created you will need to verify your email. If you are uncertain if you have confirmed or not you will see this message when you log in.
- To verify your email go to your email inbox.
- Find our email* with the subject “Please confirm your email address on OneFeather”.
** Please note: If you do not see our email but it appears to be delivered, check your junk or spam folders and add us to your contacts or safe list. - Select the Confirm Email link inside.
This will take you back to the browser where you'll see a success message stating: Account confirmed successfully. The account is now setup and you're ready to go!
Digital Voting
Take part in your community's voting event from home when your Nation enables OneFeather digital voting.
Where to access digital voting
Voting with OneFeather is easy and secure. See below to get started:
- Log into your OneFeather account at members.onefeather.ca.
- Click on Vote or Digital Voting → on the homepage.

Apply to renew or replace your Status Card (SCIS)
With our online submission process, you can renew, replace for your status card with OneFeather.
Here's how to get started:
- Log in to OneFeather at members.onefeather.ca.
- Click on Status Cards → on the homepage.
You will now be able to start your SCIS (Status Card) application.
