Welcome to OneFeather! We are building technology designed to celebrate and empower your digital Indigenous sovereign identity. Access online status card renewals, members-only documents, and digital voting with your OneFeather account.

Sign up for a OneFeather Account

A OneFeather Account will give you access to vote in your Nation's event, renew or replace your status card, access members-only documents, and receive communications from your Nation.

 

Sign up is easy and only takes a few minutes:

1. Head to members.onefeather.ca and select Sign Up.
2. Enter your personal email address and select Continue→.
3. You will be asked to create a password and confirm the password by entering it again.
4. To receive our monthly newsletter, select the checkbox.
5. Click Create Account. While we send your account confirmation email, we'll ask you a few questions to personalize your experience. See Onboarding to OneFeather.
6. Confirm your email address by checking your email* and selecting the link inside. 
   ** Please note: If you do no receive our email immediately, please check your junk or spam folder and add us to your safe list.
7. You are now all set up!
   Connect to your Nation by adding your status or citizenship number and date of birth to access community specific services such as: voting, members-only documents, status card applications, and communications from your Nation.

You can change your OneFeather account settings anytime after setup.
 

Onboarding to OneFeather

Your Indigenous Identity is unique and we believe your OneFeather account should reflect that. We ask a few questions to personalize your experience when you sign up for OneFeather.

1. We'll ask for your preferred name. That can be your cultural name, your first name, your nickname, or a new name altogether—It's entirely up to you.
2. Select the Indigenous peoples group that best describes yourself. This will help us show you services relevant to you. ** Please note: Once this is selected you will only be able to change this by contacting our customer support.
   1. First Nation
   2. Métis
   3. Inuk
   4. I do not identify as Indigenous
   5. Not listed here
   6. Prefer not to say
3. Select Continue

Your account is now all setup and you're ready to explore!
 

Verify the email address for your OneFeather Account

Once your OneFeather Account has been created you will need to verify your email. If you are uncertain if you have confirmed or not you will see this message when you log in.
 

1. To verify your email go to your email inbox.
2. Find our email* with the subject “Please confirm your email address on OneFeather”. 
   ** Please note: If you do not see our email but it appears to be delivered, check your junk or spam folders and add us to your safe list.
3. Select the Confirm Email link inside.

This will take you back to the browser where you'll see a success message stating: Account confirmed successfully.  The account is now setup and you're ready to go!
 

Online Voting

Take part in your community elections, ratifications, and other voting events from home when your Nation enables OneFeather digital voting. Vote confidently knowing your vote is secure, anonymous, and confidential.
 

Voting online with OneFeather is quick and easy:

1. Log into your account via the OneFeather members web portal at members.onefeather.ca.
2. Click on Vote or Digital Voting → on the homepage.
   

You can now take part in your Nation's voting event by voting online.
 

Apply to renew, or replace your Status Card (SCIS)

With our online submission process, you can renew, replace for your status card with OneFeather.

Here's how to get started:

1. Log in to OneFeather at members.onefeather.ca.
2. Click on Apply Now under Status Card Applications
   
   

You will now be able to start your SCIS (Status Card) application.
