Select your Nation
- From the OneFeather membership home, click Apply Now
- In the Find Nation box, enter your Nation
- Select your Nation from the dropdown
- Click Save as my Nation
Your Nation will be saved to your account and can be changed from your membership account settings.

- Read over the overview to make sure you understand each step of the application
- Check the checkbox "I agree to allow OneFeather Mobile Technologies Ltd to submit this status card application on my behalf to Indigenous Services Canada."
- Click Continue
Checking this box gives OneFeather permission to send your application to Indigenous Services Canada on your behalf once it has been completed and reviewed.
Reason for SCIS
If you currently have a Secure Certificate of Indian Status (white plastic card), you can select one of these three options below. Note that you can only apply if your card expires within the next two years unless you are applying for a replacement.
- Renewal
- Replacement: Lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed
- Replacement: Change to personal info
If you currently have any other status card, including the Certificate of Indian Status (a laminated paper card) you can select the option below:
- First SCIS
Basic Information
- In the Given Name(s) box, enter in your legal first name and any middle names you have
- In the Last Name box, enter your legal last name
- In the Last Name at Birth box, enter your last name at birth if it is different from your legal last name
- In the Alias box, enter your alias if you have a traditional name or cultural name
- From the Gender dropdown, select your gender. The gender you choose does not have to match the gender on the ID documents
- From the Date of Birth dropdowns, select your date of birth
- In the Registry Number box, enter your registry number - this should be ten digits in length
- In the Daytime Phone Number box, enter the phone number that you can be reached at during the day - start with the area code and only use numbers
- In the Other Phone Number box, you can enter another phone number that you could be reached at
- Click Next
Home Address
- Select if your address is in Canada or the United States of America
- In the Street box, enter your street address
- In the City box, enter your city
- In the Province or State box, enter your province's or state's two-character abbreviation (E.g. British Columbia would be abbreviated to BC)
- In the Postal Code or Zip Code box, enter your address' postal or zip code.
- If your address is on reserve, check the On reserve checkbox
- Click Next
Mailing Address
- Select if your mailing address is the same as your home address or if they are different
- If they are the same, you have finished this step
- If they are different, follow below
- Select if your address is in Canada or the United States of America
- In the Street box, enter your street address
- In the City box, enter your city
- In the Province or State box, enter your province's or state's two-character abbreviation (E.g. British Columbia would be abbreviated to BC)
- In the Postal Code or Zip Code box, enter your address' postal or zip code.
- If your address is on reserve, check the On reserve checkbox
- Click Next
Once you have finished entering your personal information, you will need to upload your identity documents.
